Bulldogs News · Lady Bulldogs hopefully have learned their lesson, starting slow is not the way to go! Look to get off to a better start against Colleyville Heritage on Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs ended up beating Aledo Friday night by a score of 48-47, a score which I wouldn’t have imagined after the first quarter. The past two play-off games the Lady Bulldogs have come out slow almost like they had the flu, evident by their come back effort in the second half they don’t but their shooting game might. Anna McDowell who led the team with 14 points shot 55% and Amyah Johnson has 12 points and shot 57%, the rest of the team was below 50% field goal shooting, averaging just 34% as a team. A strong effort in the second half and a 69% effort from the free throw line, which still needs to be a lot better, got the Lady Bulldogs into the Quarterfinals of the play-offs.
