Since last spring when the realignment came out, Trimble Tech was going to be the underdog for the next two years as we were moved up into the 6A Classification or so some people assumed. Not because of the talent aspect but more so it was a numbers game. Well the Lady Bulldogs showed just how much talent they have coming out of a arguably very tough district 4-6A tied for third but playing out of the fourth spot. The Lady Bulldogs were paired up with the winners of the 3-6A District in LD Bell. LD Bell was ranked in the state and had only lost four games prior all year. Myra Gordon from LD Bell came in averaging over 27 points and actually broke 2,000 points as a junior during this game. Congrats to Myra on such a great accomplishment. Congrats as well to LD Bell on a great season, we would love to have a rematch next year again in the play-offs. Myra finished the night with 24 points but it was not enough as the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to an early 10-0 lead and never really looked back. Offense and defense were both clicking early as they maintained a lead around ten points throughout the game until the last couple minutes when they pulled off, what the paper called an upset, a 63-48 victory. I think two really good teams played a good game and on Monday night everything clicked for the Lady Bulldogs.

The Lady Bulldogs continue to the march to hopefully another Regional Tournament appearance which would be held in our own WGAC. Please congratulate Coach Robertson and the Lady Bulldogs on a great Bi-District win, joining the volleyball team with play-off victories in our first year at the 6A classification.
