Bulldogs News · Required athletic paperwork is live now, with a few exceptions, all forms must be filled out prior to participation.

With graduation set for June 1st, the 2019 school year is all but over which means Two A Days is right around the corner. To make sure everyone is on the same page and have all the appropriate information turned in and ready to go for August, I wanted to share some information with everybody. The electronic forms are available to be filled out at: 2019-2020 Electronic athletic forms link NOW. All forms are physicals are to be uploaded into Rankone for the 2019-2020 school year so this means ALL physicals must be turned in on paper to the athletic trainer so they can be scanned and uploaded prior to participation. Along with the physical, all the electronic forms must be completed as well as having a current cognitive baseline test on file. If all the paperwork is complete, a current physical is on file, along with a current cognitive baseline the student’s profile will be green telling the coaches they are allowed to practice.

New FWISD Physical Rule, If you have not done so, please check out this other story that I have posted on this site regarding the new physical rule for Fort Worth ISD for the 2019-2020 school year. All physicals for the 2019-2020 school year must be dated after May 1st, 2019.

New FWISD Physical Rule for 2019-2020, physicals must be dated after May 1st, 2019 to be accepted for the 2019-2020 school year! Sports Physicals only $20, no appointment necessary! Cost valid now through August 31 at 30+ CareNow locations in the DFW area.

The exceptions to this are for cross country, volleyball, and the football teams. In respect to the cognitive testing for cross country and volleyball, they must be up to date and green prior to their first contest/scrimmage. For football they must be green prior to putting on the pads and hitting that first Friday August 9th I believe. With the exception of cognitive testing, everything else must be in place and completed on-line.

Likewise for these three sports, if you are in incoming freshmen and want to participate in these sports, hopefully you have received information from these coaches about try-outs/summer workouts and such. If you have not you can call the school, (817)815-2500, and leave a message or email them at Donna Wilson (Cross Country – Donna.wilson1@fwisd.org), Jordan Rudolf (Volleyball – Jordan.Rudolf@fwisd.org), and Dwayne Henry (Football – Dwayne.Henry@fwisd.org). Trimble Tech does not have a feeder middle school, thus I will not be able to access any of your electronic records. So please make sure you have a copy of your physical and bring it with you along with a packet printed out. Those can be found at the FWISD Athletic Department webpage: Paper athletic paperwork packet (2018-2019 is ok). Make sure you have that as well to turn in on your first day of workouts filled out and completed.

For everybody else, when filling out the electronic forms, the system might direct you to fill out the paperwork for what would be your original home school would be. Upon enrollment of the week of school it should kick over to Trimble Tech. I would also suggest you use your/the student’s ID#, as it matches up with FWISD’s Focus system and if the students name is hyphenated it will have to be spelled out in it’s entirety to match the Focus system. Hopefully this has been helpful so you know what is coming July 1st and what is expected for Two A Days in regards to paperwork. All other sports will be in offseason when school starts so all those students must be up to date and green in Rankone prior to any participation or workouts for their respective sports.
