If you had told me gong into the boys bi-district soccer that we would be short three starters due to bumps and bruises I would have said that is going to be a tough task to overcome. Had you told me that our opponent was Mansfield Summit, who were their district champions with a record of 23-1-2, I would have said Mt. Everest has been climbed before. Yet Coach Williams did his thing despite these obstacles and got the Trimble Tech Bulldogs to the end of regulation 0-0 and eventually to Penalty Kicks. They climbed that mountain! A key save from Tech’s goalie and Tech came away with a 5-3 victory in PK’s. It was a total team effort and a very physical back and forth match. Some have called it an upset, technically I did but I don’t think it was a Big upset, but I think it was a very good performance by a determined Trimble Tech Team.
Side note, I have been with Fort Worth ISD for going on 17 years and I don’t recall the last time (if ever) the boys or girls soccer teams (any sport really) that have swept the first round of playoffs as OD Wyatt, Heights (also in PK’s), and South Hills all got first round victories so congratulations to them as well.
Trimble Tech’s next game is:
Tuesday, March 7th
At Clark Stadium
Trimble Tech vs Birdville Tickets

Congratulations to Coach Williams, Coach Rocha and the Trimble Tech Bulldogs although the work isn’t done as of yet. I would also like to congratulate Coach Alexander, Coach Taylor and the Lady Bulldogs. The play valiantly Friday night as well but lost to Burleson 2-1 at Burleson High School. They had a great season and obtained the first District Championship for the Lady Bulldogs Program.
