Jason started working for Trimble Tech High School in August 2004. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Angelo State University. While in San Angelo, Jason was an athletic training intern with the San Angelo Outlaws of the Western Professional Hockey League for three years and with the San Angelo Colts of the Texas Louisiana Baseball League for two years. Jason started working on his Masters prior to becoming the athletic trainer at Midland Greenwood. While at Greenwood, the Rangers reached the State Championships in 3A Division II Football and the following year in boys basketball. The following year Jason headed to Fort Worth to take the job at Trimble Tech High School. This year with the addition of Katie White, Doc Braud is passing along Young Women’s Leadership Academy duties to her but will keep scheduling the athletic trainers throughout the district when numerous events are going on all at once. Jason is also a big support of posting information on the www.techbulldogs.com website and takes most of the pictures that are posted. Jason is married to his wife, Juanita, and they live north of town in Haslet with their four “fur babies”.
Katie White is joining FWISD, Trimble Tech and Young Women’s Leadership Academy this fall. Ms. White with me based at the Young Women’s Leadership Academy but will be helping out at Trimble Tech and throughout the district. Ms. White attended UT Tyler from 2009-2012 and studied health sciences before she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from UT Arlington in 2014. Immediately after, she began her Master’s degree in Athletic Training at UT Arlington, which she graduated with in May 2016. While working on her master’s, she worked with several high schools in the area, including Lake Ridge HS in Mansfield, Kennedale HS, and Arlington Martin HS. Ms. White also worked with UTA softball, and served on the medical staff at the Susan G. Komen 3-Day. She has helped in planning and coordinating student activities for NTATS for the last 2 years. In high school, she played basketball, threw shotput, and was a cheerleader before she got involved with athletic training. Outside of athletic training, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and watching her brothers play tennis, travelling, exercising, and playing with her dog Rambo.
